Former Al Ahly coach has praised Napoli player Victor Osimhen and explained why he emerged as the Best African Footballer of the Year.
We have always known Pitso Mosimane to be a truth-teller when it comes to the game he loves so much: football. The famous football coach recently took to social media and praised the 2023 best African footballer of the year, Victor Osimhen, who hails from Nigeria and plays for Napoli.
Osimhem beat this year’s top contenders, Achraf Hakimi and Mohamed Salah, to clinch the title. Mosimane was evidently in awe of the Yoruba star’s performance this year and the money he’s made, and he wrote about it on the X app.
He tweeted,

According to TransferMarkt, Victor Osimhen is valued at €120 million. He is also known for his skills on the field. Pitso’s reaction quoted a tweet with a video of the Napoli star delivering stunning assists to Kvicha Kvaratskhelia during a game.
According to recent reports, the star player is looking to ink a new deal with Gli Azzuri. The deal will reportedly raise his value to €130 million. He has also caught the eye of top clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea.
