He is one of South Africa’s most respected coaches, but that doesn’t mean that Pitso Mosimnae is immune to “raw deals.” Anyway, he is certainly pleased with the way his case against Al Ahli has turned out.
In his case against the club, the celebrated coach pointed out that Al Ahli had not fulfilled its earlier agreement to pay an R2.8 million incentive in the cent of a promotion to the SPL.
That aside, he also pointed at an additional R1.4 million that the club agreed to pay him in the recent he should win the division title. Well, he’d lived up to his part of the agreement.
With Al Ahli seemingly interested in the agreement and paying him, he’d taken the trouble to challenge the club, getting a victory for his efforts.
Since news broke of his winning the case against the club, his compatriots have been celebrating, with some of them joking about what they would do with the money if they were the coach and would eventually have access to the fund due him from his court victory against the club.
Well, it will be interesting to see what direction the case will take following this victory for the South African.
