Prince Kaybee Apologizes For Collaborating With Mampintsha In New Song

Prince Kaybee shares apology for collaborating with Mampintsha in a new song

Mampintsha apologizes to fans for collaborating with Mampintsha in a song.

Mzansi hit maker, Prince Kaybee had fans all riled up recently when he shared a new song collaboration with former Big Nuz member, Mampintsha. Lately, fans of various artists are not very impressed when he gets featured on their music.

Prince Kaybee’s new collaboration with Mampintsha had his fans divided. Many called him out for working with the musician who has been accused of Gender Based Violence. The backlash from the collaboration prompted the “Uwrongo” hit maker to issue an apology to his fans.

He shared the apology to social media stating how grateful he is to have fans who caution him when he’s wrong. He also apologised for hurting his fans who are victims of GBV. He revealed that he would be donating 50 percent of the proceeds from the collaboration to organisations and charities working to protect women who are victims of abuse.

@princekaybee_sa
My recent collaboration with @mampintsha_shimora was received with overwhelming love and criticism from my fans. While majority of the audience loved the song others were not happy with the me for teaming up with a man who has been accused of GBV and they vehemently expressed the opposition and disappointment. I’m grateful that as an artist I have fans who are able to caution me when I’m wrong and this is one of the case where looking back, working with Mampintsa could have offended some of my followers who have been victims of gender based violence. I would like to profusely and unreservedly apologize for my lack of judgment and insensitivity. I believe that best form of apology is changed behavior and making efforts to self correct by acting. While this action will not reverse the pain and damage caused by Gender based violence, I’ve decided to donate 50% of the proceeds of my collaboration with Mampintsa, @kamzaheavypoint @peekay_mzee to charities and organizations that are working hard to stop the scourge of violence against women and protect victims of violence❤️
