Prince Kaybee shares his production method with fans in a recent social media post.
As an aspiring producer in Mzansi or Africa, if there is any producer you should look up to, Prince Kaybee is certainly one of them. The “Uwrongo” hitmaker is credited to have an array of hits in his name and he doesn’t seem to ever relent.
In a recent post shared on social media, the popular hitmaker tried to engage fans in his production process and all that it entails. He shared a photo of himself taken while he was hard at work in the studio. He revealed in the post, that he was inspired with the melody of the song while he drove from Durban to Jozi. According to him, he only got the bass but not the chords.
He also revealed he began work on it, adding chords to it as soon as he got to Johannesburg. The way he sees it, he’ll be done with it in 2 months, referring to himself as the slowest in music production.
Drove from Durban to Jozi, on the way this was the Melody playing in my head, just the bass without chords. So soon as I got to Joburg I went straight to studio to lay this down with chords before I sleep. Will finish it up after two months or so coz wow I’m the slowest in this music thing, Good evening❤️
