Sometimes people only see the easy and flashy sides of celebrities and their careers, not realizing some of them have gone through rough patches and had to take some big decisions along the way. One such celeb is the Indian actress Priyanka Chopra.
A recent report by Variety has just given insight into her early years in Bollywood and how she had to take a very important decision just days before the filming of a flick because she found the director disagreeable.
According to the report, the actress, who is now known as Priyanka Chopra Jonas, backed out of a film production within days of filming and had to pay back the sum she got for the role because she found the film director to be “dehumanizing.”
In the said flick, she was to portray a character going undercover, and this involved removing layers of her clothing as part of her seduction game in the role. What was required of the role was way more than she could allow to be filmed.
The director was like, ‘No, I need to see her underwear. Otherwise, why is anybody coming to watch this movie?’ She wasn’t prepared to give in. She stalled and decided to ditch the role and return the money paid to her.
