R. Kelly Was Nearly Stabbed During Prison Attack

R. Kelly was nearly stabbed by an inmate with a “F**k the Feds” tattoo on his head during prison attack.

Last week, news broke that RnB star, R. Kelly was attacked while sleeping in his jail cell in the Metropolitan Correctional Center last Wednesday. At first, no one knew the reason for the attack, although it was only a matter of time before something like that happened. The singer who is behind bars for charges of sexual abuse was denied bail earlier.

A recent report by Page6ix reveals that the singer had been sleeping in his cell when an inmate snuck in and began stomping on his head. His lawyer alleged that the inmate also had “an ink pen with him that he was going to use to stab Mr Kelly”. He revealed that the other inmates grabbed him before he could use it on the star.

In a recently filed motion, Kelly’s attorney, Steven Greenberg is asking that his client be released on bail. Part of the motion said “This is an inmate that never should have been anywhere near Mr. Kelly, an individual who is charged with the most violent of crimes, and one who plainly has no respect for the rules, he has the phrase ‘Fu** The Feds’ tattooed on his face.”

He also stated that his client stays in his cell a lot, but was placed in solitary confinement after the attack. The attack was allegedly caused by peaceful protests in support of Kelly outside the prison which have led to recent prison lockdowns.
