Nigerian singer Rema performs his massive hit song at the Ballon d’Or Awards.
We are all excited to see African artists making the continent proud. Nigerian singer Rema is one of many artists who have taken African music to the world, dominating charts in various countries.
Rema, who has always called himself the leader of the new age of stars, has repeatedly proven himself. The star collaborated with American singer Selena Gomez on a remake of Calm Down, which charted all over the world and amassed over a billion streams on Spotify alone.
He has also earned massive praise for his performances at music events in various countries. Just before the Ballon d’Or Awards on Monday, October 30, it was rumored that he would be performing at the ceremony.
Well, the rumors were true because he took the stage after Manchester City won the Award for Club of the Season. With dancers around him, Rema gave an impressive performance. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the kind of event where the attendees would get up and dance.
He stepped off the stage and shook hands with big football stars, including Errling Haaland and Vinicius Jr. He has been spotted in photos with various stars, including Didier Drogba and more.
