Mzansi media star, Sizwe Dhlomo responds to Steve Harvey’s question about artists who left their singing group and did well on their own.
Sizwe Dhlomo has got Mzansi talking about Samthing Soweto, and it is only good things. The Mzansi radio star replied to a tweet by American TV personality, Steve Harvey. Harvey had asked his followers which artists left their singing groups and did well on their own.
In reply, Dhlomo simply wrote “Samthing Soweto”. In case everyone forgot, the Soweto star was a member of the trio, The Soil which was founded way back in 2003. The group originated from Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa. Their debut album “The Soil” which was released in 2011 has been certified platinum.
Samthing Soweto left the group in 2010 and released his debut album “This N That Without Tempo”. He has since released hits and the very successful album “Isphithiphithi”. And, yes, we all agree with Sizwe.
