Singer Zansie Khumalo provoked a debate yesterday, Monday, July 18, when she insinuated that Senzo Meyiwa’s wife Mandisa might be responsible for the murder of the former Bafana Bafana goalie at the home of their then-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo in 2014.
She dropped that verdict during an interview with Slindelo Masikane on eNCA. Speaking during the interview, the songstress had called on the authorities to investigate Mandisa, as she’s the one who might have a reason to kill Senzo.
At the time, after all, her husband, the slain goalie, had been cheating on her with Kelly Khumalo, who’d also given birth to his child.
Also, in a post on her Instagram page, she had wondered why nobody had questioned Mandisa regarding Senzo’s murder. She insinuated that Senzo had scorned Mandisa, who might have decided to eliminate Kelly, but things went wrong, and Senzo was killed instead. You can check out the post below.
Since the trial of the case began, opinions have been divided on who might have killed Senzo, but Mandisa’s name has been mostly out of it.
It’s unclear if the focus of the investigation will now shift to Mandisa following Zandie Khumalo’s verdict about the ex-wife. So you all gotta stay tuned for that.
