#SenzoMeyiwaTrial: All Eyes On Maggie Phiri, Who Allegedly Cleaned The House After Senzo Was Shot

The Senzo Meyiwa trial is popping with new interesting angles, the latest being that Maggie Phiri had swept the crime scene after the murder of the Bafana Bafana goalie.

Five suspects are currently standing trial for the murder of the footballer. Four are represented by the advocate Malesela Teffo, and one is represented by the advocate Mshololo.

Teffo insists on the innocence of the accused (his clients). He’s insisting that those who were in the house at the time of the murder are those who should have questions to answer about what happened to the football ace.

In the second docket of the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial, Longwe Twala, Kelly Khumalo, Gladness Khumalo, Zandi Khumalo, Tumelo Madlala, Mthokozisi Twala and Maggie Phiri are listed as suspects. According to Teffo, the five accused in court are mere “scapegoats.”

According to the witness Gugu Ngubeni, she had found Maggie Phiri cleaning the house after Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead. Phiri would claim they were drinking at the time and didn’t want the cops to know they were drinking. So she swept the place clean.

But not many are convinced about that, and the judge is yet to rule on it. The case continues.
