Sho Madjozi and AKA Will Represent Mzansi In MtvBase “Africa Day” Virtual Concert

In a bid to raise funds for the relief of the COVID-19 pandemic, celebrities from around the world will be coming together to perform.

Several African artists will perform their hit songs at the Africa Day Concert from their homes. The highly-anticipated concert will be held on the DSTV MTV Base Channel 322. Viewers can also watch the show on the YouTube channel.

The show with the strictly African line up will have multi-award-winning South African artists, Sho Madjozi and AKA, gracing the show and representing South Africa.

The MTV Base #AfricaDay Virtual Concert will be hosted by British actor, producer, and DJ, Idris Elba. The award-winning star recently recovered from coronavirus.

Taking to his Twitter page, Idris hyped the show by revealing the major African artists that will be performing. They include Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, AKA, Sho Madjozi, Burna Boy, Diamond Platinumz, and many more.

The show will be premiered on the 25th of May, 2020. It will be held at 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm on MTV Base.
