South African rapper, singer and songwriter, Sho Madjozi, and singer-songwriter, Shekhinah, have made Mzansi proud by bagging several nominations for the Nickelodeons Kids; Choice Awards. The two notable musicians are nominated in the Favourite African Star category. They are nominated alongside Nigerian artiste, Teni, and Kenya’s Patricia Kihoro.
Sho Madjozi also bagged a nomination in the Global Music Star category, representing African music.
This year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards’ host will be the award-winning rapper, Chance the Rapper.
The 2020 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards will be held on the 22nd of March 2020, in Los Angeles. The event will air on Nick Toons (DStv Channel 308) on the 23rd of March, 2020, at 5:30 pm.
The John Cena hitmaker is really going places! Last month, she performed during the Super Bowl LIV weekend at Budx in Miami. The award-winning rapper joined over 200 influential creatives including musicians, athletes, fashion gurus, etc. The talented rapper also attended the NBA All-Star weekend at Chicago with Moozlie.
Shekinah, the South African Music Award for Album of the Year winner is another artiste that has made a great impact in the South African music scene. Known for her hit songs such as Suited and Please Mr, we are also rooting for Shekinah to win the award.
