ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula gets slammed by Siv Ngesi over “own goal” confession.
Minister Fikile Mbalula has come under fire for his shocking comments. The minister had revealed that the ANC had lied for the then president Jacob Zuma when his cost of the infamous pool fire began raising questions. Several people, including celebs have taken to social media to criticize him.
Everyone, including Siv Ngesi, is shocked that the ANC lied to protect Zuma, as revealed by Mbalula. The minister has stated during his keynote address in Barberton, Mpumalanga, that the African National Congress justified the former president’s pool as a security feature.
Siv Ngesi took to his Twitter page to blast the minister. He wrote,
“Did this man just admit that they did all they could to defend Zuma? Even when they knew he was in the wrong? Did he just admit that they lied under oath to defend Zuma?”
He also told his followers that the ANC must be voted out. He wasn’t the only one who felt the party should be voted out. His followers agreed, too. One user wrote,
“I’m worried this guy implicated himself and the entire ANC, so what else must we tell ANC supporters? Guys, we’re being lied to. And these lies still continue.”
