Scorpion Kings Kabza de Small and DJ Maphorisa fans are amused by their real names.
Imagine finding out the real names of your favorite artists and just having a good laugh. Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa are two of the most sort after Disc Jockeys on the continent. The Piano hitmakers are in much demand, and their stage names roll off the tongue.
We can’t say the same for their government names. Kabza and Phori recently dominated the trends after a court in Zimbabwe issued a warrant for their arrest after they failed to show up for a performance. The Piano Disc Jockeys were scheduled to appear at the Victoria Falls Carnival.
Unfortunately, they did not show up and also failed to cough up the coins they were paid. The court has now issued a warrant for their arrest, releasing documents that showed their full names, Petrus Kabelo Motha (Kabza De Small) and Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe (Maphorisa).
Rather than be worried for them, fans have had a good laugh reacting to their real names. Sonnyboy and Petrus have been blowing up the trends. Some fans urged them to get the names changed. Check out some of the reactions below.
