South Africa Keeps Making History at Cricket World Cup

The world is impressed as South Africa continues to make history at the Cricket World Cup.

According to a recent report by ICC-cricket, South Africa has been shattering records with their huge totals; however, “the Proteas’ attack has also set new benchmarks during an imperious run at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.”

The outlet reports SA has looked like the strongest challenger to the year’s hosts, India, so far. They have bagged six victories from seven matches and are gunning for their spot in the semi-finals at the Cricket World Cup.

South Africa also broke the record for most sixes in an ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. They achieved this during their seventh match of CWC23 against New Zealand.

The report further states that the country’s success is reported to have been powered by the impressive “batting unit led by opener Quinton de Kock and a destructive middle-order that have combined for record-breaking totals, while pacer Marco Jansen has often ensured the opposition are on the ropes early in their chase.”

South Africa reportedly holds the record for the most sixes clubbed by a team in one edition of a Men’s Cricket World Cup, among other records.
