South Africans React As Embattled Arthur Mafokate Shows off His Farm

Kwaito musician Arthur Mafokate has come under severe flak from members of the public after he showed off his family in a recent tweet.

South Africans were unimpressed with the picture he shared, and they slammed him, for it, with some claiming that he got the money for the farm from the funds he fraudulently obtained from South Africa’s National Lottery Commission, for which he is being investigated.

According to investigators, the 999 Records boss had used funds meant for the public good to acquire choice properties in his name. This investigation has dragged on for years but has only just resurfaced.

Mafokate had earlier cried on camera declaiming his innocence, but South Africans were mordant in their claim that it was crocodile tears. And when he shared a picture of him on his farm and enjoining young people to get back to the land because there might be a food shortage in South Africa in the next five years, many were unimpressed.

They shut him down, claiming the farm is a product of the NLC funds he got by crook. You can check out the picture below.

At the time of writing, the music had not responded to his critics, and it is unlikely he would.
