SpaceX Dragon Endeavour Capsule Arrives At Launch Site For February 27 Mission

It’s just five days to the 27th, and expectations are pretty high for an imminent Space X flight.

Already, according to the verified Twitter account of the space corporation, the dragon capsule Endeavour is at Pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, awaiting its final mission in a couple of days.

The tweet was pretty laconic, but then it came with two images that accentuated what was tweeted. The capsule is already in position, and if all goes well, then the flight will take place as scheduled – over the weekend.

The Dragon capsule would take off atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Pad 39A. The scheduled time for the flight into space is 0645 GMT.

If all goes as planned, then the launch, which had earlier experienced a one-day delay – it was initially scheduled for the 26th – then the company would have successfully taken four astronauts into space this week. They will all have a six-month stay.

Of the four astronauts on the mission, Sultan Al-Neyadi is the only Arab and the first to be aper of a long-duration mission on an orbiting lab.

For Sultan, it is a personal milestone. After all, it is not every day that an Arab makes history.
