It is said that it takes those who have experienced negative to fight it. While we are not here to debate the truth or otherwise of that statement, it might interest y’all to know that South African actress Tebogo Thobejane has begun an anti-bullying campaign.
By her own account, she had faced cyberbullying, which left to several effects in her life, emotionally and in several other ways. At some point, it was a subject she wanted to immerse herself in. But a lot appears to have changed.
By her own account, her anti-bullying cyberbullying campaign aims to raise awareness about the negative impact of online harassment and encourage efforts to prevent and address such behaviour. The course of the campaign will also involve educational initiatives.
She appears like the ideal person to take the initiative, having experienced bullying herself. Interestingly but not surprisingly, in her latest initiative, she has got the support of many South Africa, most of whom are already wishing her the best in her campaign to rid the Rainbow Nation of bullying.
By the way, not long ago, the actress complained about not feeling safe in South Africa and contemplated life abroad, where she believes she would feel safer.
