Former Muvhango actress Tebogo Thobejane is said to be struggling to maintain her lifestyle since she left South Africa to live in Dubai.
Following reports that Mzansi actress Tebogo Thobejane is living her best life in Dubai, Zimoja has published a new report claiming that the star is struggling to keep up her lifestyle there. Thobejane shared photos of herself chilling by the pool, but we hear all is not as it seems.
ZiMoja reports that the actress is struggling to maintain the expensive lifestyle there. The publication writes that a burger in Dubai can cost up to R300 or more. They said she’s been complaining about the high cost of living and how weak the South African currency is compared to the Dirham (Dubai’s official currency).
Tebogo left the country after the car she was in was shot at. She also reportedly admitted that she left because the clubbing scene became too hostile, and the “beef and hate towards her was unbearable.”
She first re-opened her entertainment lounge, Club X, and then left to go live in Dubai. She said at the time, “I don’t know, maybe it’s jealousy or the fact that I have come home to reopen the club, but I am not scared. My ancestors would never fail me.”
