Tellaman’s hit song “Whipped” featuring Shekinah & Nasty C is certified 5x platinum.
Since the beginning of his career, popular Mzansi artist, Tellaman has amassed a lot of success with his music. From selling platinum records to taking over the airwaves, Tellaman is on a level many dream to taste.
Last year, he dropped the hit song “Whipped”. It features contributions from Shekinah and his frequent collaborator, Nasty C. The song became a huge success and was certified multi platinum by the RISA.
In a recent post made on Instagram, the Durban star revealed that “Whipped” has now been certified 5x platinum. In the post, he revealed that he is goal “was to double the first plaque, and now we not far from reaching that”. The thanked his fans and urged them to help him and his team achieve their goal.
It was disappointing to hear that he didn’t win any awards at the South African Music Awards this year after earning a few nods. Reacting to it, he revealed that no RnB and Soul artist ever wins the awards. If this is true, then it is sad to hear. Hopefully, he snatches a few awards next year. We are sure he has more hits coming.
