With a new collaboration with Canadian rapper Drake confirmed for 2022, Nigerian songstress Tems is making inroads into the global arena and just might find herself on Billboard Hot 100… at Number 1. Who knows?
Drake recently featured the Nigerian singer on his song “Fountains,” which was part of his “Certified Lover Boy” project. That body of work had been intensely anticipated and provoked a global burp on release.
Tems confirmed an imminent collaboration with Drizzy in an interview with The Guardian. According to the publication, the track with Drizzy will most likely appear on the Nigerian’s imminent album.
Tems also revealed in the interview that she’s a big Drake fan and has been listening to him since she was a teenager. The admiration appears to be mutual as Tems also revealed Drizzy once wondered aloud to her why she’s so good.
