It has just been revealed that he handed out 250 sanitary pads to those in need, saving some of them the embarrassment of using unsanitary alternatives as a result of period poverty.
Of course, he isn’t the first to take this initiative, nor is he expected to be the last. Still, the decision to hand out much-needed sanitary pads to ladies indicates there is a need for this and he is more than happy to fill a part of that need the way he sees fit.
Since the news broke of his gesture to the ladies in need, he has been praised by many netizens, with some noting they would perform similar acts of kindness when they are in a position to do so.
Sanitary pads have been subjects of debate for as long as we can remember, with many advocating that they should be free and never sold.
