Three Alleged Suspects In AKA’s Assassination Reportedly Released

In a new twist to the tragic murder of South African rapper AKA. three men reportedly arrested in connection to the musician’s killing have been released by the police authorities.

The release comes amid discordant claims and denials that suspects have been arrested in connection to AKA’s killing. The IOL had earlier reported that three suspects had been picked in connection to AKA’s murder but the police denied it soon after.

Amid the whole drama and the cries of AKA’s fans, collectively called the Megacy, the rapper’s family had called for caution and enjoined the Megacy not to falsely accuse others in other not to complicate issues further.

Anyway, multiple sources have confirmed that indeed three of the men previously arrested in connection to the murder of the “Touch My Blood” rapper have indeed been released. Their identities were, however, not made public. One of them is still in custody, though.

AKA was shot dead at point-blank range just outside Wish restaurant on Florida Road in Durban in the company of his associates, including his former manager, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, who was also shot dead in the tragic incident. It remains to be seen if and how the police would resolve the rapper’s assassination.
