“God save me,” Travis Barker tweeted laconically on June 28, sending waves of worry through the orbit of his fans and those who admire him.
For one who’s not known for being public with his prayers or innermost desires, the tweet, understandably, provoked great interest, leading to speculations on what exactly might be ailing the Blink-182 drummer.
Soon enough, it was revealed that the songster was suffering from pancreatitis and had to be hospitalized. He complained of abdominal pains and checked into a hospital accompanied by his wife, Kourtney Kardashian.
It’s unclear what triggered the problem, but TMZ claimed a colonoscopy, an examination of the large intestine (colon) and rectum to check for changes like swollen, irritated tissues, polyps or cancer.
Barker had reportedly gone to West Hills Hospital on Tuesday morning, from where he was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Kourtney followed him there.
It’s unclear what his current situation really is, but his fans and other celebrities have been standing mightily by him, wishing him a quick recovery from what ails him.
Hopefully, at the end of the day, he’d be in a position to edit his previous tweet so that it now looks like this: “God saved me.”
