Controversial poet and anti-GBV advocate Ntsiki Mazwai left most of her compatriots in stitches after tweeting about her latest payment from X.
In her tweet, she noted that she’s just been paid R237 by the microblogging platform. The last part of her tweet indicated that she was amused by the sum because it was very little.
However, some people didn’t seem to care about the last part of her tweet, which also had several laughing emojis. Instead, they made fun of her and some tried to counsel her about knowing the value of money.
They imagined that she was actually celebrating the little sum when she was merely likely making fun of it. You can check out her post below.

Anyway, her take is in no way surprising, seeing as she has already made a name for herself for saying things as they are, without fearing what others might think of her opinions.
Beyond that, people will always talk, whether she likes it or not, especially since she is a public figure and one some people look up to.
By the way, the sum she received might be small, but as some pointed out, it is way better than nothing at all.
