Usain Bolt’s Investment Account Missing $12.7 Million

Many think it is only in Africa that one’s account can be wiped with seemingly no clue how the whole heist came about. Well, it has just happened to Usain Bolt of Jamaica. The sprinter’s account has just been wiped of millions of dollars, and he is clueless about what really happened even as he strives assiduously to recover.

According to multiple sources, the sprinter’s financial team noticed discrepancies between the funds he actually had in his account and what he was shown to have.

Bolt’s account with Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL), a Jamaican investment firm he has been with for the past 10 years, showed a balance of $2,000 USD in an account that once held over $10 million.

The news of the disappearance of the funds reverberated around the world, with many sympathising with bolt and others calling on the authorities to get to the root of the matter and ensure the celebrated sprinter gets his funds back.

Bolt himself acknowledged the heist in a cryptic tweet of a black image showing he is heartbroken by the whole incident. In the caption to the post, he harped on the old quote about money being the root of all evil.
