Video: AKA Tells Nadia Nakai Why He Left Her Out of “Baddest (Remix)”

Ever wondered why AKA left out his current girlfriend Nadia Nakai from the remix of his chart-topping song “Baddest”? Well, the songster has just answered — in a cheeky way.

For the song’s remix, the Supa Mega had co-opted Fifi Cooper, Rouge, Moozlie, and Gigi Lamayne, easily some of the notable female voices in South African music.

But Nadia Nakai, a food musician in her own right, was left out. And fans were curious why.

During a recent Instagram Live, AKA readily answered a question on why he left out Nadia Nakai. He said he didn’t put her on the song at the time because he was haring on her and also thought her wacky.

During an interview with Slikour, Nadia Nakai had noted that by not including her in the song, AKA had placed her below him and other female rappers he featured on the song.

Interestingly, Nadia Nakai had noted that none of the musicians AKA featured is her friend.

Anyway, the feature drama is currently past tense as AKA and Nadia Nakai are currently lovers and having the best time of their lives.

The pair was thought to have fought Ghana recently, but they dismissed the claim in a joint statement.
