Last Saturday, June 4, DJ Zinhle and her former best friend Pearl Thusi were booked for a performance at the Bryanston, and they both showed up to perform. The pair tried to reignite their friendship.
But peeps who observed them during the performance insisted the whole thing was a fluke and that the two former best friends were just putting up a front and faking their friendship.

DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi were pretty close at some point – so close, in fact, that they might have been mistaken for sisters. At some point, they had even considered having kids at the same time. However, cracks had erupted in their relationship along the line, and the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Also, according to observant fans, DJ Zinhle had started giving Pearl Thusi the cold shoulder. Pearl had been happily frolicking with everyone DJ Zinhle hated, from Lerato Kganyago to Nadia Nakai, who’s currently dating DJ Zinhle’s ex, AKA.

Anyway, for fans of their relationship who were somehow distressed by their split, the recent attempt at amity is a good sign. Still, it’s unclear if the two will actually work things out and become the friendship goals they once were to many in South Africa.
