Famous American actress Viola Davis has achieved EGOT status following her Grammy Award win for her audiobook, “Finding Me.”
Indeed, Viola Davis has done it all. She has starred in the biggest movies and won accolades for her incredible work. Weeks back, fans were enraged when the star was snubbed by the Academy Awards following her incredible performance in the film “The Woman King.”
Little did we know that Viola was about to make history. At the Grammy Awards on Sunday, Viola Davis took home the award for Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording. Taking to the stage, she said,
“I wrote this book to honor the six-year-old Viola. To honor her life, her joy, her trauma, everything, and it has just been such a journey. I just EGOT.” The famous actress now joins 17 other celebs, including Whoppi Goldberg, John Legend, and Jennifer Hudson, who have achieved this status.
