In case you missed the backstory, Vusi Thembekwayo and his wife had a wonderful relationship – a marriage blessed with kids – until things went South, with wifey making assault claims against him.
It wasn’t the first time the two have had conflicts. But the assault case agsint him especially reverberated because South Africa has a morbid prevalence of gender-based violence (GBV) and Vusi Thembekwayo himself is prominent.
Well, Vusi dismissed the assault allegations against him. Instead, he pointed out that his accuser, his estranged wife Palesa Mahlolo, was a substance abuser.
‘Following his acquittal., Vusi pointed out there were other incidents prior. He also clarified that the case is not officially over as he and his wife are yet to finalise their divorce.
Well, until that happens, for Vusi, he can only luxuriate in the triumph of his acuttal; and for fans, they can only keep their eyes peeled to see what follows next
