In this pandemic, it is rare to see Skhanda World record boss K.O. do in-person interviews. But the hip veteran made a concession to YFM’s DJ Banques and DJ Venom, appearing in the latest episode of “The Banques & Venom Show” podcast.
For a little over an hour, the two DJs grilled K.O., asking questions that fans of the songster have always wanted to ask. K.O. was pretty relaxed answering questions from the duo.
From his appearance on South Africa’s music scene, to his founding of different record labels, to his relationship with other artistes, as well as those signed to his Skhanda World, K.O. has a lot to say.
Also, for those who have been hankering for details about the split of Teargas, one of the biggest South African hip hop groups of which K.O. was a member, the songster detailed that as well. According to the hip hop ace, sometimes one has to make decisions that favour business over friendship.
Born Ntokozo Mdluli in Soweto, K.O. is one of South African hip hop’s most respected voices.
