Mzansi may have stepped into a new season of collaborations as a new video has emerged showing gqom aces Mr Thela and Mshayi having a studio session with DJ Tira.
Mr Thela and Mshayi are two key voices in gqom music in South Africa. And although they have released multiple collaborative tunes, they have rarely been found in the studio with the Afrotainment boss.
DJ Tira is no stranger to gqom music, having released stuff in the genre as well as worked with key figures, including Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo.
The studio session with Mr Thela and Mshayi is currently generating great excitement. Fans aren’t the only ones excited about this, though. It appears all three are chuffed to be in the same number.
In a post to Instagram, he had shared a clip of their studio session, urging fans to look forward to a summer jam. DJ Tira was in the comments with the flame emoji.
It remains to be seen if the finished song will be deserving of that emoji.
