Mzansi songster Vusi Nova treats fans to a cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain,” which you can watch right here on UbeToo, South Africa’s premier music and entertainment hub.
Vusi is not exactly into covers, but when he drops one, he does a fine job of it – like now.
The songster has been in the news recently, especially as regards his relationship with Somizi. Because Somizi is openly gay and Vusi is associating with him – and has even gone on a couple of vacations with him – some peeps have said he’s gay as well.
For this class of peep, he and Somizi are longtime friends, and people’s opinion isn’t going to change how he relates with the Idols SA judge.
By the way, Vusi’s cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain” may be taken for a prelude to new music in that the songster had earlier teased a single titled “Akasemhle” with 047. Well, until a formal release, may may have to content themselves with the cover of “Purple Rain.” It’s gonna rain good vibes, we promise.
