Who killed Senzo Meyiwa? The battle to fish out the former Bafana Bafana goalie’s killers continues with the recent revelation that Kelly Khumalo’s uncle Themab Khuumalo will appear in court to testify.
According to reports, Themba was the one who was called to guard the house after Senzo was shot and those with him at the time rushed him to the hospital.
Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead in what was initially claimed to be a robbery at the home of his then-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo. Kelly was there at the time of the killing and so were her mother, her sister Zandie, and a couple of their associates. All of them reportedly followed Senzo’s body to the hospital.
But before they left, Themnba Khunalo was reportedly called in to guard the house, According to Sergeant Timothy Mathebula, who was among the first respondents at the crime scene, when they came to the house, they were ushered in NY Kelly Khumalo’s Uncle, himself a police officer.
They made their way through the kitchen into the main room.it is unclear what Themba’s testimony will lead to, but many South Africans are following the case keenly. Some have already lost faith in the ability of the police to unmask the killers.
