American Oscar winner Will Smith posts another emotional apology to comedian Chris Rock apologizing for slapping him at the Academy Awards.
Months back, the internet was abuzz with videos of Will Smith slapping fellow actor and comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars. The video went viral and led to a lot of backlashes. Even Smith’s first “Best Actor” Academy Award win was disputed.
He released an apology to the famous comedian, but he seems to not be over what he did year. Smith has shared another emotional apology to Rock, who recently received a goat (named after Smith) from Kevin Hart at their MSG show.
In the 5-min long apology video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Smith stated he “reached out to Chris and the message that came back is that he’s not ready to talk and when he is, he will reach out.” He shared that at that moment, he “wasn’t thinking about how many people got hurt.” Watch the full video below.
