Despite the recent announcement of the move of WWE from DStv to Netflix, it appears like that is yet to take effect – and may not take effect after all.
In case you missed it, Netflix and WWE announced that the channel (WWE) will be moving over to Netflix in the United States and globally beginning January 2025. It was part of an R94 billion deal to have WWE exclusively on Netflix.
Despite the deal, though, WWE is still available on the DStv network via SuperSport. So those who are already on the DStv network may not have to worry about missing out on the “RAW” fire of the WWE universe.
While details about the deal are still sketchy, multiple reports point to DStc still having WWE as temporary. When the deal with Netflix is fine-tuned, it is expected that the WWE will ultimately no longer be a part of the DStv universe.
