Yanga Chief Shares Original Version of AKA’s ‘Star Signs’

SA Hip Hop star Yanga Chief has shared the original version of AKA’s “Star Signs” and paid homage to the late rapper and ProKid.

We all know how much AKA and Yanga Chief loved and appreciated each other. They collaborated on songs together, and Yanga also served as a songwriter for the Supa Mega.

February 10 will be a day that fans of SA Hip Hop will never forget. Mzansi lost AKA in an assassination outside Wish restaurant in Durban. The star had gone to celebrate his birthday with friends when he was shot while leaving the restaurant. Fans and fellow celebs have supported his work since his passing.

Taking to the scene recently, Yanga Chief shared the original version of AKA’s hit “Star Signs” before it featured Stogie T. He wrote, “Actually found the original version of Star Signs on my phone. This was such an epic studio session. This night will always be in my heart. RIP FORBES x PRO bafethu.”

Fans were excited to hear the version. Some said that version should have been released, while some praised the work done on it. sowetan_buddy wrote, “Still can’t believe they gone #oneofonetribute.” Tembelihle77 also reacted, “The beat is mad crazy.”
