AKA might no longer be on the material plane, but he would certainly be chuffed about his legacy and how his compatriots are riding it, keeping it alive. The latest to do this is the celebrated rapper YoungstaCPT, who happens to be an associate of the slain rapper.
YoungstaCPT has just hopped on AKA’s Mbuzi Freestyle and given life to a new beat of his own. the result is as delightful as can be – as you would find out presently.
In the freestyle, the Voice of the Cape rapped that he didn’t mean to disrespect the family and friends of the rapper who might still be mourning privately but that if he were there, there would have been more of them dying – implying that he would have fought to the death and not just watch anyone take his friend and associate away.
AKA was shot dead at point-blank range just outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban as he stepped out in the company of some of his associates, including his former manager, Tebello Motsoane, who was tragically killed with him.
The freestyle, which you can check out at the end of this post, has received mostly positive reviews.
