Late last year, South African rappers Zakwe and Duncan liked up for an album named after them “Zakwe & Duncan.” That body of work housed 15 tracks in all, with “Kapteni,” a collaborative work with Kwesta, coming in at track 12.
It’s 2021and the two lead artistes have picked the “Kapteni” for promotion, releasing it as a stand-alone track or single – if you please.
Duncan shared the cover art of “Kapteni” on his Instagram page a day ago, letting fans know that the song is available as a new single. He also left a download link for it. The responses to his post indicate that fans are okay with the decision to rerelease the song as a single. This is evident in the power and flame emojis dropped as comments to the post.
“Kapteni” is actually an interesting number. It benefits greatly from Kwesta’s fierce delivery. Listening to the three artistes together is a treat that you will surely want repeated.
