Mzansi emcee Zakwe has reacted to Kwesta’s Top 5 list of the best SA Hip Hop rappers of all time.
Kwesta still reigns as one of SA Hip Hop’s most respected artists. He has also been inspired by and admired several rappers. The star does not relent when he talks about them.
He recently appeared in an interview with Slikour, where he listed his top 5 best rappers of all time. He stated that the ProKid was on top of the list, and everyone else rounded out the entire bottom 4 in no particular order. Kwesta listed Zakwe, ProVerb, HHP, Zola, and Stogie T as his top 5 best SA Hip Hop rappers.
Zakwe was so honoured to be included in the list that he reposted the video and thanked Kwesta. He wrote, “Means a lot to be mentioned among the best, by the best.” However, Kwesta’s list got mixed reactions from SA Hip Hop fans, who criticized him for picking a majority of late rappers.
