South African singer Zandie Khumalo was so effusive in her note to her elder sister Kelly Khumalo that many may not realize that the sisters had fought bitterly and publicly in the past, almost coming close to disowing each other. It was that bad.
But that appears to be past tense at this point, as the two have seemingly mended fences are are back in each other’s good books. At least they have been showing through their actions that they are back in sisterhood. The most recent affirmation of this – and one that got many South Africans talking – was Zandie taking to her Instagram page to celebrate Kelly Khumalo at 39.
In the caption to her post, she noted her wish for every young lady to have a sister like Kelly, given her ability to achieve the seemingly impossible. She went ahead to list them, using metaphors. Zandie and Kelly are both singers, but the older one seemingly has more musical influence. AN aspect of their existence that remains of great curiosity to many South Africans is their being at the scene of the Senzo Meyiwa murder but neither knowing who killed the footballer.
