Zandie Supports Kelly Khumalo Amid Allegations Of Involvement Is Senzo Meyiwa’s Murder

Amid the sudden surge of interest in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case following the unveiling of the meaning of Kelly Khumalo’s 2014 song “Asine,” Zansie Khumalo has risen in support of her elder sister.

The two sisters have not always had the perfect relationship. In fact, they have had sporadic fights online. But all that appeared to be in the past. In the battle to unearth the killers of the former Bafana Bafana goalie, the sisters have shown a remarkable bond, supporting each other.

So perhaps it shouldn’t be surprising that Zandie should erupt in support for her sister. Both of them were reportedly on the ground (in their family house in Vosloorus alongside their mother) when Senzo was murdered.

Senzo Meyiwa was Kelly Lhumalo’s boyfriend at the time. So a lot of people suspected her of having a hand in his killing. She has maintained her innocence, even when people tried to link her to it on the basis of her song “Asine.”

That number, which was released before Senzo’s death was about a last who was accused of killing her husband, but she insisted that she didn’t do it.

Well, Zansie says she will be on her sister’s side through the storm, supporting her indefinitely
