Kelly Khumalo’s sister, Zandile Khumalo, says the late Senzo Meyiwa is standing with her after she was accused of being the brains behind his murder.
The recent update on Senzo Meyiwa’s trial has stunned fans. According to reports, at the Pretoria high court on Wednesday, two men accused of killing the late Bafana Bafana star pointed accusing fingers at Kelly Khumalo, calling her the mastermind behind the football star’s assassination.
The murder happened in Khumalo’s mother’s home in Vosloorus in October 2014. The singer’s mother, Ntombi Khumalo, two of Meyiwa’s friends, Zandile Khumalo-Gumede, and her then-boyfriend Longwe Twala, witnessed the murder.
Kelly’s sister Zandile wrote a post in support of her sister, saying that the late Senzo was standing with her.
“I will stand with you forever because I know your heart, and I know Senzo is standing with you wherever he is. You know we are lions [and] we don’t worry about sheep’s opinions,” Zandile wrote.
“To those that have been DMing and texting asking if she’s ok: ‘Like all of us, she wants the perpetrators to be brought to book, and they will be, sekuseduze. I’m telling you this coz I know how much you love and care for her so I don’t want you guys to worry.”
