“Uzobuya” singer DJ Zinhle found herself on Mzansi’s trending list following the rival news that Black Motion, a South African boy band, is splitting.
The band comprises two friends, Murdah Bongz and Thabo Smol, the first of whom is DJ Zinhle’s boyfriend.
Some critics think she’s responsible for the band splitting even though there is zero evidence to support this. Others criticised Murdah for being too focused on his relationship and not his music.
DJ Zinhle is well aware of the criticisms of her and claims she’s responsible for the band breaking up. She acknowledged the prevailing allegations in a tweet which she also turned into a mini sales letter to promote her brand.
She announced she’d got new products for her Era by DJ Zinhle brand. That’s what she does. She also joked that next people might accuse her of being responsible for the increase in fuel prices.
DJ Zinhle and Murdah Bongs started dating a little over a year ago. They have developed such a deep bond over time that some of the singer’s fans think Murdah Bongz was the man she should have dated all along and not AKA, her previous boyfriend with whom she has a daughter named Kairo Forbes.
