Cairo CPT and Xola Sofuthe join forces for a new compilation titled “The Sunday School” EP, which you can stream here on UbeToo. The title of the project might suggest two musicians on a proselytising run, but are they?
We would say not at all, and you do not have to worry about the numbers either. For one, the duo actually put together a project worth the playtime. From the very first track in the compilation, you realize that you are in for something grand – which is what you get, ultimately.
The compilation bears just five tracks, beginning with “She gives me Love” and ending with “UJesu Wam.” Between those are memorable numbers that you would not want to ignore as you listen to the project.
It is unclear why Cairo CPT and Xola Sofuthe elected to work together, but then the result of their collaboration is irreproachable. Go figure.
