After an encounter at Club Konka, hip hop ace Bigstar Johnson and his fellow South African Oscar Mbo have linked up in the studio. The result of that coming together is a number titled “Look Around,” which you can stream here on UbeToo, South Africa’s premier music hub.
This number will actually make you “look around” with pleasure. From the beat right down to the lyrics, there is so much to love about the number.
This is pretty intriguing because Bigstar appears to have lost interest in the hip hop orbit – or so one is tempted to think because he comes and goes like Uncle Baldwin. His releases are markedly sporadic and one can’t tell when he might drop something else.
Anyway, there’s a steaming beat from him and his associate, and you’re welcome to savour it for all it’s worth, while keeping your eyes peeled for more. Way to go!
