Radio and TV personality Anele Mdoda catches smoke for defending socialite Yams Zwaka, who allegedly slept with her best friend’s husband.
For Anele Mdoda, 2024 seems to be a year of standing up for people who can’t defend themselves. Many weeks back, the 947 radio host defended the SARB Governor Lesetja Kganyago’s daughter, Mmabodiba Kganyago, from online trolls after she passed matric with flying colours.
While fans may not like that she’s been doing that, it hasn’t stopped Mdoda from standing up for anyone she feels for. The star recently took to Twitter and spoke out against those dragging socialite Yams Zwaka after she allegedly slept with her best friend’s husband.
She replied to a tweet by Sanelenkosi, who revealed that Yams slept with her best friend’s husband, Thabang. He also accused her of sleeping with half of her baby daddy’s friends. Anele replied, writing.
“So they all didn’t want to sleep with her?all of this was under duress on their part? How does she make so many perfect people do the wrong thing?”
Fans reacted to her response and told her to stay out of it. @Mpu2mi wrote, “Respectfully, I think you should sit this one out.” @kattergat reacted, “So you would rather deny your loyalty to your bestfriend on grounds of trying to share the blame with others?”
