Benni McCarthy Gets Fat-shamed For Recent Photo

A recent photo of former South African football player Benni McCarthy caused him to be fat-shamed.

A recent photo of Benni McCarthy, showing how he looks now, has caused the former football player to get fat-shamed by fans. Benni, who is on the coaching staff of Manchester United club, has often gotten shamed by fans for his weight when posted online.

Back in 2010, the then Westham player was fined almost R1 million for failing to lose weight. According to a report by The Sowetan, the football star was 12 kg overweight at the time. He also failed to make the squad for the 2010 Fifa World Cup that year.

He opened up to MailOnline in an interview and said: “I’m the type of person who, if I don’t train hard, I pick up weight. With my bone structure, body structure, if I don’t train with intensity, I will get bigger”.

He retired from playing professional football five years later. Benni is now getting trolled by fans online after a photo of him was shared on the socials.

A user @baka66 wrote, “Dude needs to mix in a salad and back away from the buffet table – plus more cardio!” Another user, @Okuhle_CFM, noted that he was living the good life, “Money is treating him well.”
