K-pop girl group singer Lisa joins the cast of third season of “The White Lotus” as the show hits Thailand.
Fans of the award-winning show “The White Lotus” are in for a great time as news about the show’s third season continues to unfold. The talented Jennifer Coolidge, while receiving her second Emmy Award this year, said her character which died in the second season was not returning according to the show’s creator.
Rcent reports also reveal that the show will be heading to Thailand for its third season. Lalisa Manobal, best known as Lisa (of the Kpop girl group BlackPink) will be joining the series as a cast member. It was announced by HBO on Tuesday via their social media platform, X.
Further reports state that filming for the third season will commence in Bangkok this month, in the holiday islands of Phuket and Ko Samui. Fans are excited that Lisa, who is basically Thailand royalty will be joining the show.
“The White Lotus” is known for its success and has been the perfect role for Jennifer Coolidge to reclaim her spot at the top. It has also been reported that the second season, set in Sicily, influenced a spike in searches for travel destinations to the island.
