Popular boxing coach Simon Domingos has opened up about turning to Mzansi Magic’s “Date My Family” to find love.
The hit Mzansi Magic show, “Date My Family” has been a success for 12 seasons. We have practically seen it all on the show. Singles are made to meet the families of their potential partners before meeting their partners for real.
Renowned bare-knuckle fighter and boxing coach Simon “Silverback” Domingos is the latest single to star on the show. Speaking to News24 about his decision to appear on the show, he said,
“I felt like I was failing to find love on my own. I am not sure if I was looking for it in the wrong places or trying to find it in the wrong people, so I thought, “let me try and leave it to fate and try my hand at finding love on a TV show”.
He also revealed that he isn’t looking for a woman who smokes cigarettes and has cigarette breath. That’s a turn off for him. Instead, he says,
“I want someone caring, loving, and understanding. I want a partner. I am not looking for just anybody, I need my partner to be my best friend, the person I want to tell everything to – small or big. That’s something that is really important to me.”
